Tuna Quiche: The Dish You Have to Try

Having a dinner party and want to impress your guests? Tuna quiche is definitely the very meal you want to cook. Easy-to-make and incredibly delicious, this meal will simply stun your guests. Ingredients

  • 170g of butter
  • 270g of flour
  • Salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 150g of milk
  • 200g of cheese
  • 100g of mushrooms
  • 100g of canned tuna
  • 1 tomato
  • Dried basil
  • Pepper
  • 120g of heavy cream
  • 1 onion
  • 30g of dried tomatoes

Method

  1. Put 270g of flour into a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of salt, 170g of butter, and mix everything together
  2. Add 2 eggs and mix them in to create dough
  3. Put the dough into a plastic bag, carefully spread it, and put it in the fridge for 1 hour
  4. Remove the dough from the bag and roll it to create a round sheet
  5. Put the dough into a 26cm baking pan and make the base of the quiche
  6. Make some holes on the bottom of the base using a fork
  7. Place a parchment paper on top and put some rice on it
  8. Bake the base in the oven for 20 minutes at 175C or 347F
  9. Mix 120g of heavy cream with 150g of milk
  10. Add 1 egg, salt to taste, dried basil, pepper, and thoroughly mix everything together
  11. Take the base out of the oven, remove the parchment paper and rice, and sprinkle 200g of cheese on top
  12. Add 100g of canned tuna, 100g of mushrooms, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 diced tomato, and 30g of dried tomatoes
  13. Sprinkle more cheese on top and pour the milk mixture you made earlier on top
  14. Bake for 30 minutes at 180C or 355F

Tips

You can also use fresh tuna, just fry it for a couple of minutes in the pan and add to the quiche.
