Hot Biryani to Impress Your Guests

Ingredients

  • oil
  • 1 kg of mutton meat
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • ginger
  • garlic
  • green chili
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 big cardamoms
  • 4 cloves of cinnamon
  • 10 black peppers
  • ½ teaspoon of black zeera
  • 1 onion
  • 8-10 dried plums
  • mint leaves
  • red chili
  • ¼ of nutmeg
  • 3-piece mace
  • 3 small cardamoms
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 lemon
  • yellow food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon of kewra

Method

  1. Add some oil to the pan
  2. Put 1 kg of mutton meat, 3-4 potatoes, some ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste, 1 cup of yogurt, 1 bay leaf, 2 big cardamoms, 4 cloves of cinnamon, 10 black peppers, ½ teaspoon of black zeera to the pan
  3. Slice and fry 1 onion and add it to the pan
  4. Add 8-10 dried plums, some mint leaves, red chili, ¼ of nutmeg, 3-piece mace, 3 small cardamoms, 4 cloves, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, ¼ teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  5. Cook until the meat becomes tender
  6. Boil 2 cups of rice, drain it, and spread on top of the meat
  7. Cook it for another 5 minutes
  8. Stir everything and put sliced tomatoes and lemons on top
  9. Sprinkle fried onion, coriander, and mint leaves
  10. Put the remaining rice on top
  11. Mix yellow food coloring with 1 teaspoon of kewra
  12. Cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes
  13. Serve your meal
