Fajitas is a classic Mexican recipe with tender chicken meat and some vegetables. Lime juice is a special ingredient that you will definitely like.

Ingredients

  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 onion
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Method

  1. Sprinkle the fajita seasoning on both sides of the chicken breast and press it in.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and grease it with a little bit of olive or avocado oil.
  3. Fry the chicken for about 6 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove it from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  5. Fry bell peppers and onion.
  6. Slice the bell peppers and onions.
  7. Fry them in the same skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until they become caramelized. Mix everything well.
  8. Put the chicken into the skillet, add a bit of fresh lime juice on top and stir well.
